Not here, not quite there either. not even in the middle. every step feels like I'm carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders and if I could turn around I'm sure I'd be able to see where I started. my heavy shoulders won't let me check so i just continue. I'm tired but i keep going and I truly hope it'll be worth it because my feet are blistering and my will is faltering. the way is full of curves and pulls, beads of sweat slash through my temples and I just don't know when i'll get there, if I'll get there.
But I want to get there. this exploration of the letter g originates from its position on the alphabet and how it takes no particular spot when regarding the way from a to z. it's neither very close to a, neither to z and can't even claim a middle spot within the sequence. regarding this as a metaphore for how we walk through life, the g is constructed with organic curves, juxtaposed with sharp angular valleys one could fall into while trusting the smoothness of the rounded parts of the letterforms.
